Tell me if this is good.
My opinion concerning (the guy who assaulted me) and his assault on me:
No I was not hurt seriously. Yes I was pissed. No I did not provoke him. Yes I want something to be done about it..
What about it, It's up to you... My opinion? I think The Guy needs to take a time out to step back to understand inter-person relations and what lines should not be crossed. The use of violence or physical force is UN-tolerable.
My offer:
I can and will step up to take more responsibility for the standards I am breaking and pull a 180 away from anything harmful towards my co-workers myself or the company.
I can and am able to work 50 hours a week with no overtime pay required. On time, every day, to knock things out. Open till close duty, 5 days a week, M-F.
I am Able and ready to handle all accounting duties honestly.
I really need the money and will be able to accomplish my job with the utmost scrutiny and detail to duty with a little guidance and training from upper management.
I can and will learn to handle dramatic or stressful situations with a more professional mindset and leave those who are emotional alone.
Things like; Worksheets, opening/closing checklists, temperature checks, bathroom checkoff, flip rotation, meat and cheese flipping, soup stirring, rag usage, parking lot cleanliness, dish cleanliness, inside restaurant appearance, food inventories, co-worker management, accounting duties, janitor duties, customer satisfaction, proper dress code adherence, sobriety always, proper prep and the utmost respect for the job and for the customer
.. All of these things I can and will do,and more, as need be, without question or delay.

I feel like as the opener I have performed my duties well and am able to get back into the closing routine and operate at 100% utility. With ease. All I need is the paper work for all the fine print of running things and 2 days to study all materials and i can make it happen.
..
I realize this is a bad time with The Mexican quiting.. If you want to play out this week with the schedule as it is giving you time to hire a new worker and then taking my offer I would understand.
I realize I am asking a lot and am asking for a whole lot of good faith.

I am working for a place that just opened up and we are in the tell tale high turnover employee rate and my competition is a black guy with a criminal record who assaulted me and fails to do his duty. IE: The Guy

managing a restaraunt...ugh
i like to do the cooking...i was kinda offered a sous chef position, but salary blows
you do sound quite convincing man...

I've worked five joints... I KNOW. I've been in and out of almost all of it
..
This place is a cakewalk. I love it because I worked at a place just like it and I know how to do it all . It's the best job ever..
minus a few co-workers who are thinning out fast.
The Mexican quit, the pregnant girl is taking time off, and the high schooler is saying sh needs more time for class.
My damn boss needs to get on the ball and HIRE PEOPLE and officially make me the manager.
We've been open less than a month
