I'm not sure what I believe, but if you're talking about the judeo-christian heaven and hell, then he obviously is going to heaven.

My guess is that Death's own view of good doesn't mesh with the pope's, so obviously the pope is evil and going to hell

actual ones who care at least a bit about the bible realize that the bible says not to judge people and that public opinion has no influence on heaven/hell
