Who would you want to still be alive

So here's a list of a bunch of dead musicians, not ones who died at reasonable ages though. Which would you rather see alive today?

I guess it's not really "a bunch" either, but just the first six to came to mind that seemed they would be the most popular answers if this was a Family Feud question.

I love Morrison, but he was already on a downward spiral to no where.

Jim was moving on to bigger and better things man thats why I picked him. The others made their marks in their time, but Jim never had enough time, to say make a real black and white roadhouse film. Sad.

Yeah, but Hendrix had been on the scene for like 5 years or some shit, just imagine if he had lived longer.
By the way it was a no brainer for me, Hendrix head and shoulders above the rest.

Elvis Presley - 0 0%
Wrong crowd for him, but none the less Morrison got my vote, I'd love to see that man still breathing.

Marley and Lennon would be the only two still alive as the others would have done themselves in through all the abuses they put their bodies through, but I can't choose from any of those, sorry

Jimi was on the verge of something really incredible. Each album was becoming more and more complex creatively, his songwriting was improving, and he was finally figuring our how to use his voice to its advantage.
He was nowhere close to being a burned out junkie, his death by sleeping pills was partially due to overworking himself.

Only John Lennon out of those guys...
I would worry that Jimi Hendrix's music would've gotten incredibly lame in the 80s. The others had run their course IMHO

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. -- `Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' -- Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.

Jimi I think would have gone back to a more blues thing in his older years, which would have been cool.alot of good years left in him there was.
