Two men face drug trafficking charges after allegedly selling a different kind of happy meal at a Gore Park hot-dog wagon.
Staff Sergeant Scott Rustin said undercover officers were acting on a tip when they staked out the area last Friday, observing some customers giving $25 to one of the suspects.
The customers were then given marijuana in a folded napkin when they walked up to the hot-dog wagon at the corner of King and John streets.
Upon arresting the men, police discovered several small bags of pot concealed in paper coffee cups inside the wagon.
Recent addition
Staff Sgt. Rustin said he believes the special condiment was a recent addition to the culinary offerings.
"It's the first time that we've seen something like this in the core," he said.
"As for how long it's been in operation, who knows? It's the first that we got wind of it. He was selling hot dogs, too."
Trafficking charges
Staff Sgt. Rustin said the 23-year-old hot-dog-vendor is known to police and his bail has been opposed. He and his 25-year-old accomplice face trafficking and proceeds-of-crime charges.

dang selling weed out of a hot dog stand lol ... where i live people used to sell weed out of taco bell
