EXCLUSIVE: CON SMUGGLES DRUGS OUT OF JAIL

A PRISONER has been accused of smuggling drugs OUT of jail to sell to college students.
Convicted drugs runner Gerson Vargas, 26, chopped up several ounces of marijuana in his prison cell and cut them into "wraps".
Officers believe Vargas then smuggled the drugs out of Ford open jail in West Sussex, when he attended a catering course. The classes at Chichester College were supposed to help with his rehabilitation, but officers believe he was just using the trips to make money selling drugs.
Vargas, who is serving seven years for smuggling £130,000 worth of cocaine into the UK, was charged by prison bosses and moved to Category B Lewes Prison, in East Sussex. A prison source said: "He was caught in his cell cutting up marijuana the size of two bars of soap, but when cons deal inside jail they don't wrap drugs up."
Vargas had completed just three years of his sentence when he was allowed out on day release.
The source added: "It's quite clear now he should never have been let out."
A spokesman for Chichester College refused to comment.

There is a larger amount of drugs in prison per capita then on the streets, so thats not surprising.. although I wonder how many correctional officers was involved.. you know he had to have a couple on his side.

Yeah, I doubt the prison would put up with his 1000w MH lights running up their electricy bill.
