8,901 pounds of marijuana seized in McKinley County
GALLUP, N.M. Authorities have seized eight-thousand-901 pounds of marijuana found in a tractor-trailer that an officer stopped for speeding in an Interstate 40 construction zone in McKinley County.
McKinley County sheriff's Sergeant George Justice says Deputy John Trevor-Smith stopped the rig (Wednesday morning) 38 miles east of the New Mexico-Arizona line.
Justice says the tractor-trailer was traveling ten miles an hour over the posted speed limit.
Justice says the rig's driver acted nervous and declined to say what was in the truck.
Authorities say Trevor-Smith's drug-sniffing dog smelled narcotics near the rig's rear doors, and the marijuana was found in bundles in 13 shipping crates.
Authorities say the driver and a passenger in the rig face drug charges.

Wow, no MDMA this tme.
Lately it seems most of the reports I read with these smart people involve a trunk full of mdma.

Nah, one case was all like DXM pills or something. According to the report, they were released after it didn't test positive for illegal drugs, and they got their pills too.

then why did you call it mdma? if it is being sold as ecstacy, call it ecstacy, but when people say mdma, I assume they mean real mdma, as opposed to ecstacy, which I consider to be whatever is sold as ecstacy. Wow, I see a circle going on here...

Well...
I've seen both happen. I didn't think you literally meant that all the MDMA is being seized, and wasn't responding in complete seriousness because of it. Forgive me.
To sum up: Plenty of MDMA in the trunk, driving like a madman on the highway. One case of bunk pills, where they actually gave the dudes their massive stash of pills back. A story I thought was funny enough to repeat.
