i think mandatory sentences are unconstitutional and should be given to no one. that last part doesn't make sense. i think i know what you were trying to say but i don't think it came out very well

getting busted with one pill of ecstasy is possession of a controlled substance (Schedule I). if you had a larger quantity they would try and charge you with intent to distribute a controlled substance. if they caught you selling it they would charge you with distributing controlled substances.

just before i read this i had read an article about a couple guys facing a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years for weed and shrooms or somethin on those lines. i was still kinda angry about that. maybe i should have mentioned that before.
