Drug bust nets pot, cash, hallucinogenic mushrooms

Agents with the Metro anti-narcotics task force served a search warrant on a home near the Continental Country Club Wednesday night and seized about $8,000 worth of marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.
According to information from the Flagstaff Police Department, the home was a purchase point for the drugs. Officers confiscated about a pound of "high quality" marijuana with a street value of about $6,400, about a pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms with an approximate street value of $1,600, related paraphernalia and $1,300 in cash.
The names of people involved are not being released by law enforcement, as the investigation is ongoing.

Between the person caught possessing it all the way to the reporter talking about it, the price tends to multiply several times it's actual value. Busting someone with $500 of weed just doesn't quite sound as good.

$6400 a pound STREET VALUE being the key term.
$100 quarter oz = $400 an oz x 16 oz in a pound = $6400 pound STREET VALUE.
Strains such as NYC diesel, sour diesel, and a few more command such prices.

haze goes for about 6 grand a pound. the one hit wonder. smells great, tastes great. its all about the exotics now day's. its like i fell asleep in a cave for 10 years and woke up to all this west coast shit thats over priced. needless to say maybe someone got over charged by 4 or 500 bucks on this pound.lol

Yea im goin w/ the street value calc too... they take a small retail price, and multiply it by the amount they find to inflate it. At least the price for a pound of shrooms seemed pretty dead on....
