Does anybody know if there are any deadly mushrooms that grow in North Georgia? Or even any that just make really really sick.

Yes. There are probably close to 50 species that can hurt/kill you. If not more...

Best thing to do is go out there with a field guide, a camera, and a knife to cut the shrooms.

If you can't ID with the book, then take pics of the gills and stuff and do a spore print.

There are deadlies everywhere.  Never eat anything unless positively, without-a-doubt identified as something good.
