 Juneau Alaska mushrooms

I haven't found any edibles yet. Does anyone who has successfully gone mushroom hunting in Juneau know what parts of town are good to start at? Will I find anything in early October or is it too late?

Thanks for dropping by, Coolio. We don't normally give out near exact locations because everyone and their brother will go there and gank the shrooms.

Let me rephrase - anyone here ever successfully hunted any worthwhile mushrooms in the area of Juneau/Haines/Gustavas/Hoonah?

That's a better question. I would use the search engine for threads and then pm the members that posted in them.
I haven't seen any Alaska hunters post in a while. Annie and her husband (I forget his name) are from there I think.
