Shroom 1

Habitat: Hardwood forest 30 minutes NE of atlanta, ga. Forest floor lined with decaying leaves, many rotted trees, creek runs through it.
Gills:White
Stem: white, about .5" thick, full veil about 1" below cap
Cap: 2" diameter, brown with white/tan warts, convex. darkest in center.
Spore print color: white
Bruising: none Other information:
Shroom 2 ( On the left )
 Habitat: same as #1
Gills: PURE white attached, run perfectly flat from end of cap to stem
Stem: Just as white .6 inches
Cap: Red, 1.5" wide conical but with a dimple in the middle. sort of a button.
Spore print: on the way but im guessing either white or pinkish white as its only been on the paper for an hour and nothing has appeared visable on white paper

Correction...
shroom no. 2.. ON THE RIGHT some times i'm a tard.
And on No.1 is it some sort of amanita hopefully a variation of muscaria?

1. looks like an amanita but its not a variation on muscaria. Was there a volva at the base? Theres no concentric rings on the base is there? Can't make out fully from the pic above.
2. Agree on Russula
Edit: Theres 3 mushrooms there not two? Is it just the outer 2 larger specimens you were talking about?

1. Looks like Amanita rubescens.
Do not experiment.

Amanitas kill more people than all other mushrooms put together, so an ID of some to be eaten must be correct. An ID based on a photo on the Internets is not reliable enough to potentially risk your life on. ToxicMan
