just started hunting the cascade foothills and am hooked.....went up to 4000 feet yesterday and found some boletes (all bruised blue so I left em) and some amanita.
Im including a very tiny guy I found yesterday in VERY deep brush....I had to crawl 3-4 feet into ferns/blackberries and some other thorny mothers that chewed me up good....but it was worth it for the photo ops. It was at about 500ft on a hillside in an alder stand. Anyone have a clue?
The spore print was white on tinfoil and the cap measured about an inch across.
This is my first post....please let me know if theres anything else I should include in the future. Thanks.
Have about 5 days a week off to devote to hunting, so Im excited about the next couple months.

I'd guess a Marasmiellus species of some kind.
