No, but like all things they only live for so long... Then they either rot, or the sun dries them out for you... Its almost like a favor from the mushroom gods.
But mushrooms need sun, they will most likely be out there but bigger when you go back, unless they were picked.
Also if its really dry out and really sunny you might want to check out under trees/shade/bushes/tall grass
