 Florida Cubensis! POPIN!

So as Im sitting at home yesterday smokin a cigarette i feel the need to stretch my legs. So i hike down my dirt road for a nice lil walk. Im just strollin and enjoying the day, as the afternoon was quite pleasant in Seminole Co. I live next to a 25 acre pasture, but there only about 4 cows on it at any given time, and ive never really taken the time to hunt that area. Adding to that is the fact that the guy who owns it is your typical crazy drunken redneck that will shoot first and ask questions never. Truly an interesting breed. But any way so im walkin and take a side road that break off of mine. When ever im passing this field my eyes are always moving, just in case i see that little golden cape. Well... i saw it.
About 30 yards away from the fence line in a shady spot beneath a coupla scrub oak trees, i saw a little mushroom. At first i didnt believe it. And kept on walking. Then curiosity gove the better of me, so i figured why not. Hopped the fence and booked it to the spot, the pasture bull was 20ft. away and hes tried to kill me before. So i run, grab em without stoping and haul ass back to the fence. Soon as im over im hoopin and hollering im so damned excited. There are my first true blue cubes ever, i found some tiny ones a coupla weeks ago but they dont really count IMO but these guys are fairly decent size. About as big in diameter as the palm of my hand. There were only 2 full grown, about 4 developing pinners, and a shit ton of smaller pins. So ima be checking that spot again over the next coupla days. BAM!! Central Forida Strikes Again.
P.S.-- Anyone who read my other post on my cubies and copes thread will know my memory card reader for my digital is M.I.A so no pics atm, but todays payday so ima go pick on up tonight and hopefully have pics up by tomorrow monrning.

my first cubensis, i found lbs. of copes last season but no cubies until yesterday. and yes, i have dosed many a time.

heck yeah, i havent found any copes yet :/
lots of cubes for the past 3 years though
today i gotta wash human shit off my door handle then tomorrow ill be set to visit a field (ittle be about 3 days of rain)

the hurricane went swell we got two days of decent rain so far... i hope it keeps coming
Its been dry as hell here for the past 4 months, i havent hunted sense before july 4th

OMG thats a long fucking time. I figured that TEX shroomers would be happy about the Cane, but dam 4 mths, thats crazy. Its been raining almost daily here in Florida, with tems in the low 90's humiditys been runnin at a faily constant rate. Making for great conditions. I hope yall have sum luck after the hurricane.

ha your first cubes huh  its awesome when you totally expect to not find them. my first time eating mushrooms, i hunted in november when i was really young. i just new mushrooms that fucked you up grew up on cow shit. but i knew it had to rain and be warm and it was neither, but finding a wet lb or two was like the most euphoric thing ever.

ah it's supposed to rain here some later but i don't think its gonna last all day
maybe not then lol. just checked intellicast. it hasn't rained since i've been up yet.
