if i am finding p cubensis in afternoon and the humidity is only about 40%25, they probably grew the night before when the humidity was about 85%25 and the temp was around 75 degrees. so my question is when i go pick in the afternoon and i find fairly small caps, if i leave them overnight when the humidity gets back up to the 80s will they continue to get bigger ??

They should continue to keep growing regardless of whether the temps rise again or not.

Once the caps start to open up though (the veil tears) they are matured mushrooms
