Hey, I finally found some decent looking mushrooms on a lawn.
Habitat: Growing on lawn, near horse pen(LongIsland,NewYork) Gills: brown-tan, free stem: tan, not straight, lines following the curves, pretty solid feeling cap: .3in-1in across, tan spore print: in progress, so far looks dark brown/black doesnt bruise
The spore print Im sure will help a lot, Im hoping they arent too old to make a print.

Panaeolus Foensecii however it is possible you could have a mixed collection, spore print all of them and if any of the prints are black they are Panaeolus Subbalteatus.

Yes, those mushrooms are Panaeolina foenisecii, an inactive species. The spore colour will be brown.

Wish is very sweet, obviously, but curecat is roughly as sweet as an unripe lemon.

No Panaeolina foenisecii here. These are all Argocybe pediades.

You think? I considered both species but went with P. foenisecii based on the whitish (rather than tan), shiny stipe, and the way the cap in the third photo looks somewhat easily separated from the stipe... That said, the last photo looks right, colour wise, for Agrocybe pediades.
And now that you say it, and I look back at the photos, i notice the rusty spore deposit on the stipe of the mushroom in the first photo, so you got this one!!
Nice job, A. pediades it is.

Oh, and the substrate seems firmly attached to the stipe. Another feature I over looked the first time.
