The striations on the stem are vertical,not twisting.

Spore print is black.

Found on cow poop.

Bruises reddish or a darker brown.

Northeastern USA.

Ive never seen pans with striations like that around the margin, are you sure its not a purplish black ive seen prints from atlantis and they look purplish black instead of the normal brown/purple. Send workman a PM hell know.

They look like Panaeolus castaneifolius to me.The print is black.

I have a couple cow pastures that I hunt and I havent been there in a while. I am in the upstate NY you say north east. Not sure how far away you are but I will definitely have a look for some.

in the first pic it looks like there are purple brown spores on the caps of the two on the left, i see a stem behind those two which is were the spores came from obviously.
