Cap : 1 3/4 in diameter, yellow/light brownish
Gills : White fairly spaced apart.
Stalk : 2in long, not hollow, white, fragile
Print : no visible print
Habitat : Growing in tall grass under a tree, partially covered by decaying grass.
Location : Indiana
Bruising : Beige bruising if any.

my guess... (if active) immature common large psilocybe

Probably Clitocybe or something similar. Definitely not active.

If you try doing a spore print overnight you should see something. I agree with landsnorkler that that's probably a Clitocybe, in which case the spore print will probably be pale pinkish.

Happy mushrooming!

Another possibility that looks like this, that fruits in the NE in the spring is Lyophyllum descartes or chicken mushroom, if so it will fruit in clusters and will have a white spore print. The hardly have any smell or taste. They tend to fruit for a month or so in the same place once they start, if it stays humid enough.
