Habitat: usually out of the side of cow dung, sometimes out of the top, in natural grazing lands. Central texas brushland environment. Some rain recently, but usually hottish. Chilly night and misty morning prior to hunt today at mid afternoon.
Spore Print: clearly black, like a sharpy
Gills: adenexed or seceding, close spacing, darkish gray approaching black, but with what would seem like light spots on every fin.
Stem: Hollow, fairly strong, but will snap. Finely spiraling lines seen clearly in the aging areas of the stem. 1-3mm diameter. Mostly whitish turning pale brown to tan. Possible annulus trace on stem, dark, almost black if not. Not present on many.
Cap: Obtusely conic, very smooth, especially at maturity. Possible flaking of the pellicle, or outter skin of Cap. Not particularly colorful cap, mostly faded tan/brown, darker at the tip, fading to lighter as you go outward.
Please help.

Some of them look like subbalteatus. You might have more than one species in there. Use macro mode (the little flower button) on your camera to get some good close ups. As long as they all print black though, they arn't poisonous.

Awesome, thanks again Landsnorkler. I'll check up the spore prints on all of them. But that gives me comfort.
I was wondering about the camera, seemed like every picture was white or fuzzy, I'll have to borrow that one again for the next finds.
