I found this beauty in moss under a juniper. There was blue at the base when I picked it, but it appeared to blue more where damaged. I couldn't get much of a spore print. My initial thought was one of the blueish Stropharias, but the light brown gills hmmmmmmmmed me.

I want to say Heboloma but....are the gills free or attached with maybe a notch near the attachment?
The bluing in the stem is what gets me,you might have something there.I dont know if that is "active" bruising but it could be.
Interesting indeed.

Is the lower part of the stem actually greenish or is it just reflecting the surrounding grass?
Right now I couldn't say what that mushroom is, but I'll probably return later once I consult the books...

maybe the infamous galerina , but the bruising in the picture is very light , are sure once it dry dont look more prominet and black , does not look like an active bruising from here , but hope it does , so what about the spore print , oh sorry you say about that , next time don`t cut the base of the micelium help a lot , i still think is somethin brown spored maybe galerina.

The stem didn't blacken. On the dried specimen the blue-green is now visible at the top of the stem. I don't think Galerina. Wish I could have gotten a spore print. Hopefully I'll be able to get scopey with it soon.
