I found them growing in the front yard of my house in a very tight grouped cluster

Take a spore print too. The gills don't always dictate the exact color of the spores.
Also. Which region were they growing in?

shit man. they kinda look like pan. subbs. but......is your lawn well manured and well watered? read the "ID Request" posts to post a proper request, its way to hard to tell. DO NOT eat anything at all unless you are 100% on the ID.

they where grown in a patch of grass where old food had constantly been threw out for years...
Cap- round, brown, black lines making it almost look like an acorn Gills- attached and kinda flarred, gills are dark brown Spore print- Completely black Stem hollow but kinda fat, fading in color from white to brown
