A yellow Craterellus? I think these are Cantharellus appalachiensis.

I say think because these are very very small.Cantharellus appalachiensis is supposed to be a bit larger.

I just think the fertile surface kind of resemble Craterellus... but i don't have mush experience with the genus... or Cantharellus appalachiensis for that matter -- they are certainly cool looking mushrooms. Did you collect them all or are you allowing a bit of time for them to grow?

Picked the bigger ones, maybe a couple dozen.Left a bunch of the smaller ones there.
I found two decent Cantherellus cibarius last week and a bunch of buttons were there, so I figured I would come back to a crap load today, but noooo.

were the buttons still there? They can take a long time to mature.

Cantharellus appalachiensis looks like a good match, though i would not rule out Craterellus. There are quite a few species on that genus, and most are poorly documented from what I can tell.

1 gram wet should get you a solid Level 2 experience with good closed-eye visuals and nice body feel
Seriously, I guess they should make a good meal. I've only had experience with the Smooth and Small chanties.
