Hello helpful people. I am from CT and its very hard to find a list of active species that grow wild in CT. Has any one had success hunting in this BORING ASS state. I am just not sure if CT has any hotspots. Also, how many species grow on cowpatties? Also pointing me towards other sources of text documents will be helpful. The location FAQ in this forum was not helpful to me.I read this site everyday for like 2 hours so i am really stumped thank you ALL

well maybe not connecticut but northeastern mushrooms.just because they are not reported dosent mean they aint there.maybe hunt edibles too just so you get some kind of reward.just make sure of a positive id because mushrooms can kill you deader than a mutha.

Technically, I should lock this post because you're asking what mushrooms grow in your state (a no no, if you've read the rules).
But eh, what the hell.
Don't waste time in cow fields
Research these species:
Panaeolus subbalteatus
Psilocybe caerulipes
Gymnopilus spectabilis
