Plants
    #8615655 - 07/09/08 11:49 PM (4 months, 21 days ago)

Does anyone have any experience with bending plants over with a rock and some string to keep them from getting to the top of a fence?

I will try to post a pic tomorrow.I just wanted to know at what angle to start bending them at,and do I work into it slowly.Once a week, day,or whatever.

I put a piece of cloth around the stem and attached some string to each end, then I tied the string to a rock slightly bending the whole plant. The plant is about 4 foot tall and I put the cloth around the 3/4 mark up the plant. This should keep the stem from getting hurt.

I do not want to shock it into herming out.could this happen?

Is it okay to trim the bottom branches off that are not doing good? The bottom few branches are not getting hardly any light and they only have a few leaves near the top.Would it shock the plant to trim them?Would it give more energy to the rest of the plant?

Thank you ahead of time for any  answers.

just pinch the stem till it is soft and then bend it down. no need for tying down.
where the stem was bent will become hard as a rock in a few days.

  It works great

Google yielded 113,000 results for "tying marijuana plants down". Maybe also check out The Growery?

I have done both tying down and the pinching method many many times.
pinching is far easier and faster.

you dont need to worry about angles and crap. It is very resilient trust me.
