Looks like a peruvian torch to me. So yeah its a pedro.

Its just that I was guessing he wanted to know if it was active or not. A lot of people seem to refer to all active trichs as pedro Sorry for any confusion.

not here they dont, san pedro is Trichocereus Pachanoi
peruvian torch is Trichocereus Peruvianus
and there are many different cacti that are Trichocereus that are not "pedro"

(I also thought san pedro was a collection name for all active trich, are you sure Royer?)

I bought seeds off a vendor that says

Trichocereus bridgesii: San Pedro cacti This cactus is also called San Pedro by the Incas - Rare.
But like royer said , a bridgesii is nota pedro, and niether is a torch.

yeah Bridgesii is also known as Achuma. and all Trichocereus are now Echinopsis 
and yeah thats a beautiful Torch

It´s a Trichocereus peruvianus, to be specific.  The size of the spines has nothing to do with it´s chemical makeup.
