i've heard it has to be above 5000 lumen and a whole day of sun if one wants them to produce mescaline. has anyone had any experience with trichocereus grown in germany? will it work? i got loads..

5000 lumens?  i dont know about how many lumens you need, and i know u dont need a full days worth of sun.

as long as theres strong light hitting them regardless, they should still grow and produce.
im sure even if the shade where they might become etiolated and stringy, they would still produce alkaloids, just not in the concentrations you would find in a pedro thats exposed to heavy sun, but they would produce none the less.

i say u let em grow :awesome:

if your in a place where its legal to grow and consume peyote, learn how to graft.

you could have an entire yard loaded with peyote ready to consume within 2-3 years.
