Just thought I would share some pictures, along with some details you might not notice from the pictures
This is my small cacao, in this picture you will notice the gloss to the leafs
 this is my big one
here you can see a baby leaf emerging, if you zoom in you can see some of the fine red hairs
here is the deep red color of the new growth leafs
in this picture you can see some of the fuzzys that cover the leafs, you can't tell from the pictures but the leafs actually have a slight velvety feel to them, slightly rough feeling yet smooth. Front and back it has these hairs, interestingly i have found knats caught by them from time to time.
here you will see the spikes, im not sure what purpose they serve, looks kinda like a pineapple
lastly, its hard to see this in the pictures, but the baby leaves are actually transparent, especially the really small ones
I prob won't ever see any fruit, but they are fun to grow, and they grow pretty fast. big leafs to.

well im hopin i can keep them inside for a while, right now i have them inside a greenhouse, for humidity its gotten up to 85-90, they didn't like that so much hence the yellow leaf tips in the picture. they've been at 50% for about a month now they like that much better.
for light ive had them under 2 - 32w 48" florescents overdrived x2
