 dumb pot question

I plan to set up a small grow. In short what I want to know is "if my plant turns out to be male can you still smoke it???". I know that it will not be the best but would it still be active? THC must be found in more the just the female flowers, just not in the same levels. I know a male will not be the shit but can I smoke it? I love a nice clean headie nug but at home before bed I don't need "shit to write home about" ya know. for the record I put the seed in the soil about 10 min ago and of course I hope its female and this whole question was a waist ..... but who knows right  thoughts please oh and before I get ripped a new one yes I am an adult, live on my own and do grown up stuff but I never out grew the urge to try and grow a seed found in a bag. I just never tried until now

From what I understand, THC levels are much lower. Maybe you'd get okay smoke from a qwiso or bho extraction, but honestly, I wouldn't bother. Can't you grow more than one so you have a better chance of getting a female? I mean, there's a chance that seed won't even germinate.

youd have better results smoking the stems of a female plant.
in other words the thc is so low that you would get a headache before coming anywhere near a high.

From everything I've read and heard, smoking male plants will give you nothing but a head ache. You could try some kind of extraction, but why not just grow a few and keep the females?

Hey, good luck with your grow. I used to grow. I have grown close to 100 plants or so. There are things to do to increase your chances of the plant being female. This is how I did it. I ALWAYS got female plants. I think I got one male in the 3-4 years that I grew. Anyway, let the seed soak in some water in the dark until you see the little root sprout from the seed. Then stick the little whit root VERY gently pointing down into soil, gently pat with dirt, voer with saran wrap and stick under either MH or flourescents(SP?). If using the latter, literally have the light 1/2 an inch away from the surface of the dirt. I always had a 6 inch tall plant, from seed, in about 2 weeks. sometimes more, sometimes less, Depends on the strain. Want more info, PM me. peace and again, good luck. Oh, and no, you can't smoke males... at all. There is NO THC to speak of. They're good for oils, clothing, paper, motor oil, cleaners, etc. HEMP RULES!

Not to mention if it's a male and you keep it it will spread pollen all around your grow space and make it a nightmare to grow sinsemilla bud next time around.

well all that said .... that is sort of what I thought  . I only have a few seeds on hand and by limitations of space only have (or at least have only alloted) enough room for one plant at a time, at least one plant at flowering size. If the men have to die for the sake of the women and children then so it is and thanks a lot for your feed back. oh and misos thanks for the offer but I have quite a solid indoor garden and a good handle on plants in general in and out doors, I will do my homework to see the specifics and apply my base knowledge to get me home.

No problem man. Hey, how much space are you talking? Technically, you could do a SOG. Basically you could fit 2-3 plants into the same spot as one. It's worth looking into if you don't already know about it. GOOD LUCK! Oh, and I totally didn't mean to undermine your knowledge...

for the record its one of those "in a large box" type gigs and I know that I will have to be mind full of good air exchange good humidity and heat and I will cross those bridges when I get there. The box is not really for concealment, its clear, but rather to minimize the constant, wonderful aroma that comes with the process from filling my small APT 24/7
