Ugh. I feel like i cant get rid of this damn green mold... I cleaned out my fc and perlite and still i am getting green mold once my cakes/cassings go into the fc. There are no signs of them in the jars so its makin me go crazy... where am i going wrong? i am following peopls teks and sterile procedures like the bible trying to keep this shit out. but it happens. And now i found out my lc has black mold because the jars i innocd are full of it. Should i move my fc to another room where there hasnt been green mold or what?!
I dont even know what to do anymore it makes me sad...

Shotgun terrarium, logs, monotubs, ect.? FAE, (like HS said)? Location, (moldy basement)? Bad spawn, (or syringe, ect.)? Try alternating these variables and see if you find a difference, or articulate this setup.
But yeah, this really isn't the right place for this question. More info is needed to find a solution, but you may want to search the Contamination Forum for your paramaters. Good luck.

You might need more FAE. It is mold's biggest enemy!

hmmm well my fc is down in a basement. Do you think that would have something to do with fae? or is good air still good down there

How is circulation in the basement? Is it an open-air basement? Bad phrasing, but is there a draft or another way for the stale air characteristic of a basement to exchange with fresh air? That might be your problem.

The air in the basement should be fine. You just need more going into the fruiting chamber.

i do. i have a humidity and freshair air pump and i fan after i mist. which is about 3-5 times a day. And sometimes i dont mist and only fan or only mist and not fan depending on the moisture of my casings.

Is your FC elevated, and is it located near any objects, (water heaters, lawnmovers), that might have standing water?
Standing water has always been, in my experience, the cause of green mold abundance in a basement setting. It's not an uncommon problem.

If you get mold very soon after you birth into your FC, that means your spawn is contaminated before entering the FC.

You might want to add some Weather Strip around the top of your Glove Box, works well for me. Only costs ~$3 or so.
