Does trich grow on oranges?
The reason I'm asking is I just picked up an apple from a fruit bowl on our counter and noticed this greenish powdery stuff on it and I looked at the other fruits in the bowl and the was this orange with what looked like it could be trich on it. I threw it outside but I know that the spores are easily spread and I Plan on doing some spore printing and making an LC in the same kitchen tommorow.
I hope this wont mess up my prints or lc.

idk, but fruits can grow some funkadeali stuff...
and potatoes get funky too...
i cant believe you have rotting fruit and dont have an infestation of fruit flies...
...damn having guy roomates sucked ass...
so happy to live with a girl who knows how picky i am, and how clean of a hobby this is

Amazingly we dont have fruitflies.
I actually dont live with any guys, Live with my GF and her daughter.
The orange wasnt rotting, it just had that mold stuff on it.
I sure as hell hope that didnt just screw me for any work I have to do in here.

well i think I am just going to oust the shit out of the kitchen as soon as I wake up and do it again an hour or so later and hope for the best.
But if anyone has a good answer for me, please let me know.

hahaha, i dont trust oust. i alcohol spray the shit outta my house HAHAH...
i like the smell tho.
i tried bleach the same way...almost died...i think i wouldve if i had stayed in much longer

I would alcohol the area but I am all out and I don have any wheels to go and get some.
I can get some in the afternoon but I would like to do all my work while the kid is out at work, she doesnt know whats going on and I would like to keep it that way.
I could always use the bathroom tommorow to do my stuff if need be.

yeah nothing major but I got some caps that should be dropping spores by morning and I want to get some prints and make up some LC's.
I suppose that if I have to I can wait. this is only the first flush off of 2 cakes and I have mnore that should be pinning soon and even more still in the TiT.
So its not a dire emergency but I would like to do this shit tommorow.

but man, i know the powdery green stuff youre talkin about. you get it in almost EVERY bag or onges if you let them sit. its more of the color copper gets as opposed to trich...i thikn youre all safe.

well best of luck then. if its not too much hastle to just avoid the area of the unknown green, i would to be safe.
is youre bathroom pretty clean generally, if so, take a few hours of ousting and closing the door, and ousting and closing, etc.

Yeah the bathroom is pretty clean butwe have the kitty box in there. Oh hell I will figure something out.
Maybe I will just get up in the morning and bleach the hell out of the kitchen and wait till friday morning to do all the work.
I think I will have more caps opening then to from the looks of it.
It would be really nice if someone who knows whats up with this mold would come out and let me know that its not trich and I have no worries.
