Wet Mycelium, or contam?

I am a first timer. My first jars. I have spent several hours a day for a few days now, reading everything I can find about contamination, but I cant seem to find any pictures or descriptions that replicate what I am seeing in my jars. I hope its just wet Mycelium or metabolites? The area Im worried about is the cloudy area between the more brilliant white areas. I hope its not Bacteria! My jars are incubating at 80 F*. and are about 2 weeks since inoc. Could that have caused the condensation in the jars. Should I leave them at room temp.
I am also curious about the thick white parts in the 1st pic. I assume thats normal, but assumptions dont always tell the truth. I am excited to get started and already have a great appreciation for this website. I would be thankful for any feedback that could help.

This pic may be a better example of what I'm describing.

Since you asked about contams and pics specifically:
http://www.shroomery.org/5276/What-are-common-contaminants-of-the-mushroom-culture
I had a bitch of a time finding that myself, and then I lost it! Now I have a link to it in a post in my journal.

this looks like a contam.
-------------------- Alder is not the BEST type of to use
Heat drying cubes is okay and recommended
Sunflower seeds do not cause contams
You should directly mist your cakes
The subjects that I cover are not species specific and can be used in All Aspects of Mycology

Yes, it does look to be like some bacterial conatmination. What does it smell like? If it smells like sour milk it's definitely a goner.

Thanks. I appreciate the link, although I have read that page ( a few times ) before. I guess I was just trying to find jars that looked identical to mine so I could know for sure. I'd hate to through out perfectly good jars. It looks like I might have Bac. Contam. Oh well. I still have about 1.5 cc with a few clumps of spores in there. Like the old saying goes "Fake it, til ya make it". Thanks again for your input.

They smell fine. I have them in an incubator at 80* F. I'm going to take one jar out and let is sit at room temp and see if it shows signs of improvement. Would a jar that is too wet look similar to that? I have read a few post of people that thought they had bacteria and it turned out they just needed to air out.

How does it smell?

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. -- `Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' -- Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.
