 Air Ionizer/Ozone Generator for enhanced sterility

I was wondering if anyone has any experience using these?
It seems they might prove useful in removing possible contams. Maybe run it for an hour or so in conjunction with a flow hood?

i know ozone can be harmfull in large amounts . also ozone creats a noticable smell that has led to many cannabis busts. IF not used with proper descrete venting.it removes smells from the air but im not sure about contams. IF you have money and you are looking for added protection against contams look into hepa air filtration. hope this helps

I have a hepa with an ozone generating function built in,I used to like to start it up and run it for a few hrs before I did any sterile work,I have no real way of telling if it helped or not but I figured it couldn't hurt

It helps, but a simple HEPA filter run for a few hours in a small space will work much better for contaminants. Ozone, despite the hype and marketing claims, is harmful and not nearly as effective as HEPA filtering. And ionizers... Some are ok, but remember the Ionic Breeze made by Sharper Image? Sharper Image is now a pink slip stock after Consumer Reports released a scathing review of their product. Here's a shot of the Sharper Image stock price:
