Best way to let a mycobag sit?

My friends and I were talking about it, and everyone seems to have different opinions.. Some like to let theirs sit on the side with the substrate spread out over the surface area of the side of the bag, and some like them upright with the substrate at the bottom.. Anyone with any experience on which is best for colonization? =)

I do my bags upright. Because I do not want to expose moisture to the air patch. Also it could dry out easer because increased exposed surface area.
But it does sound interesting try it on its side.

but if you sit it on the side, it won't have an a good even shape and surface for the latter pins. even surface is key in having a good pinset.
and surface area due to position really really doesn't matter for bags because you mix them up, causing great amounts of surface area for mycelium to colonize from, regardless of how it's sitting.
sorry to be such a party pooper lol
