Hi, I was wondering, what happens if you put an unfully colonized jar into the terrarium? will it start to grow shrooms? I was using 1 pt jars, and I didnt distribute the spores evenly by accident. Anyway, 3 of my jars had to be thrown away due to mold. Of the other 3 only 1 had decent colonization, the other two only showed a slight colonization. Anyway I had these jars for over a month and it appears that they stopped colonizing. I was afraid that they would dry out inside if i didnt take them out. When I took the best jar which was about 2/3 colonized, I noticed it was really dry inside, and It hadn't shown signs of growth in over 2 weeks. So I just put it inside a terrarium and want to see what will happen.

I doubt they will pin, it sounds as if you have some type of contamination that stopped your cakes from colonizing.
