(On average) What percent of their original weight do mushrooms retain once dried?

10% is the standard figure, but it's usually a little less than than IME.

I go by 10% but it always seems I have slightly more than I calculate.
I use a vacuum dessicator to get mine cracker dry.
I don't know, to each their own.

mine ended uo at 7.5% of wet weight, but it was left out, and i do have teens everywhere. maybe some is missing.
