Since I'm sterilizing my casing layer in a PC

Is it okay to use tap water? Will the heat from the PC rid the water of the harmful chemicals? It seems so...

Tap water will work just fine. Distilled is best, but tap works. I have used tap water when I'm in a pinch and have never had a problem.

I use tap water for everything, it works fine.
