 early harvest of myceluim

I have a friend who had some myceluim growing in jars. The directions he found on the internet for growing mycelium said to wait two weeks before harvesting the myceluim but after a week the jars seemed to be full. And since he was hungery for them shrooms and was hoping to make a big break though in the mycelium growin process he went ahead and harvested them. They seemed to dry out fine and when he ate 2g they seemed ok but when he gave 2g to his friends they said it was too weak.
Did the early harvest greatly decrease the amount of psilocybin content of the mycelium?
And if so by how much?

he ate mycelium? was this pf tek stylee?
did he enjoy the glittershits?

Under his instruction, I taped drumsticks to his head and turned him into a sort of mummy, or perhaps a caterpiller in a cocoon. He remains this way for about three hours, making bizarre noises, pretending to be a new species that must learn to walk and talk and eat, etc. And he communicates with other life forms by way of the antennae on his head. Eventually we jam a tube from a waterbong into it's mouth and figure he's learned all he needs to know.

Mycelium just aint that potent. Grow shrooms. Theres a reason its done that way.

it is just that qaxon didn't make their tek clear. could be a lc they used to eat just the mic. doesn't make sense to me but then again who am i.
