After completely ruining my dumb plan on my second try casing, I wonder if I should just go cake style for the first couple of times. Does anyone know about how much weight I'll get from a cake (total estimate dry) for lets say....B+ maybe a range would be best?? Is casing way too easy, any first time champs do it right? let me know.. thanks

though I don't know the exact yeild for B+, one cake will be enough for you to trip balls  , but you might as well make 8 or 10 or 12 cakes.
yes, PF Jar cakes are the easiest for first timers. You still might fail though, there are many things that go wrong.

No one can tell you what your cake will yield. Expect anywhere from 3.5 - 7 grams, given a couple flushes.
AFOAF cased all his jars on his first grow. See:

It's still in progress. AFOAF did not find casing to be difficult. Read and understand the process and sterility requirements before you even think about opening a colonized jar. If properly carried out, you will be aptly rewarded.

trutru...my WBS is finally showing signs of mycelium growth and I about shit my pants when I seen it.I almost couldnt beleive me,pfshroomer,actually did something right for once.

hey a foaf is doing about 6 cakes and they should be ready to birth in a week or a little more. if it works out would you guys estimate one flush from 6 cakes would be suficiant for a trip or 2?

I am on the last flush of my first grow with cakes.
I have gotten slightly over 2oz dry from 11 cakes over all flushes.
I used b+
So I would say I got 5-7 dry grams per cake
7 grams is good for 2 strong trips but potency can vary greatly.
