My friend's dog is about to case a few cakes, but doesn't have the space / ressources to build a terrarium. He had good success before simply putting a cake on a layer of soaked perlite in a tupperware with a saran wrap on top. Now he is thinking of doing the same kind of thing once again, but with crumbled and cased cakes in the tupperware.
In other words, the recipient used to make the casing becomes the terrarium itself.
So, do you think it can work? I've read cases needed slightly less humidity than cakes, so in my situation casing the cake should be better?
