tub problem

If you were here last week you know i am done with mushrooms for good, i sold all of my stuff the other day. The fishtank heater that was with it has a small bridge with suction cups on it to hold it down.. will these suction cups hold to the bottom of a rubbermaid? The buyer of my project wants to know.. thanks.
