Would any of you guys happen to know the California state laws regarding minors being sent to juvenile detention for not attending school? Please give information or give a site where I can find out. Thanks.

I believe after 14 days of truancy they will file criminal charges against you.

Well, I'm on independant study and I only show up to school every wednesday for 10 minutes, and that is all that I'm supposed to be there. I haven't showed up for 3 months but did abotu 2 weeks ago. So if I show up for my 10 minutes next wednesday my mom cannot have me put into juvenile hall?

In order to go to juvenile hall, you must be a juvenile. Since you must be 18 to browse and post here, I'd say you sank your own ship.
