Anyone grown this? I have always been interested in it and I found an article about how the mycelium changes the color of the wood to give it a reddish hue and in the UK there is a different type of wood that you can buy that is basically english oak + Fistulina hepatica.
I was kicking around and saw a patent on it that seems kind stupid to me, maybe I am reading it wrong but to me this reads. Poke holes in your bag where you see primordia, which is a pretty tried and true method of all kinds of things and hardly worthy of a patent.
