 oyster tub grow - planning stage

ok here we go, i just thought a bit about once ago growing some oysters but i am lacking
a proper greenhouse so we will have to go ghetto on this one 
ok here is the idea:
basically, that is a tub with colonised straw on its bottom, rotated 90?
the straw is tucked down with plastic lining with holes in order to provide
both air exchange during spawn run and later space for the fruitbodies to mature.
i will have to figure out a way to keep the straw from falling down but i already
got quite a good idea on howto.
anyway, both on top as on bottom of the tub, there will be about 4 polyfill stuffed holes
and there will be my ghetto version of the tropicair humidifier
pumping fresh, humid air into top of the tub:
deal is, i wonder if this will be able to provide enough FAE in order to get the oysters
to properly fruit.

the pump used for feeding air is going to be the RENA AIR 100 which puts out
approx 120liter of air per hour, so merely 2 liters of air per minute.
the tub measures 49x29x25 centimeters, and i plan on filling it halfway with straw
so that would cut it down to 49x29x14 centimeters, a total volume of 19liters.
well, it seems as if this would be a far to little output of air from my pump,
what is your opinion on that ?

It should work, being on its side. Oysters need good lighting,(more than cubes) and lots of fresh air. I've fruited them on an open shelf with a clear plastic trash bag with lots of holes punched, draped loosely over the top of the substrate.
If they develop a coral structure, give more light.

So it looks like a modified mono tub, with the addition of the air pump. I was thinking along the same lines for my upcomming oyster grow. I sure would like to hear some feeed back on this set up.
Why would you turn it on the side? For more co2 to escape?

I think it's because oysters grow on trees in nature, hence the vertical setup.

so the heavy co2 can float downwards, being pushed by the fresh air from above
and leave the tub through the polyfill holes @ bottom.
btw the spawn is ready, ill spawn it soon !

Soon I can grow some shrooms in tubs for you if you're interested in? If not I wont grow and post. I don't do this anymore, I grow them in my 8X14'$100 grow room or outdoors. I'll ask to one of my girl friend to lend me her camera. It'll be in tubs without pumps, filters or things complicated to do. Just tubs and substrates. This is particularly interesting for someone who would like to grow his shrooms and do not have space, like in a city. If you live in a really small apartment you'll maybe need a small fan? That's it.

ok ill g2g this here to some other jars.
notice how the mycelium has already covered the grain and is forming fruitmass inside
the jar already, ill have to use some spork and lotsa power to get some grain out of this beotch
oh btw, the two cans are of some very good austrian beer i am just enjoying

i guessed so, you know im spoiled from cubes
anyway, the g2g went very easy, it seems as if the fruitmass was only established
on the outside of the jar, i should see soon how the jars are doing
