yerba mate as fruiting substrate
    #8439952 - 05/24/08 11:42 AM (5 months, 25 days ago)

i made my own spawn recipe: poplar sawdust and used yerba mate 50/50. i will inoculate with oysters grain tomorrow.

let's see how works!

i use yerba mate residues as additive to grain with good results, the mycelium colonize yerba without problems

What is your reasoning for using yerba mate? Just curious

probably uses it as a tea, then doesn't want to discard the organic material

reduce, reuse, recycle

i think yerba could help. i get no space at home for grow a control block, but at least is not harmful for mycelium
