I suppose the nude block would be ok provided there was enough air exchange. However, if it were me I'd use the bag and poke holes in it for a more "controlled grow."
What kind of air exchange are you planning to run?

30 degrees?
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/1600618#1600618
Quote:
(3) Primordial formation
* Temperature Ling zhi fruits and develops at 20-34'C, with the optimum temperature 27-32'C. If the temperature is out of the former range, the fruit body may have abortive growth. In particular, if the temperature is lower than 20'C, it produces malformed fruit bodies, with the cap unformed. During the latter stage of fruit body development, you should frequently alter temperature within the above mentioned optimum temperature range in order to produce high quality ling zhi with a thick pileus and tough flesh.
