so i just came into possession of all the maple wood i could want. just looking for some idea's what to do with it all.
I'm thinking shiitake lions mane and reishi
one of the things I'm worried about is cross contamination, how would these three do fruiting next to each other? I plan to have logs stacked next to each other
any suggestions on other mushroom species to use? how well does putting spawn on top and then just covering with cardboard or another log work compared to drilling and plugging which sounds labor intensive?

Since when they fruit the logs are already pretty much colonized, there weon't be any danger of spores of a different species inoculating the logs.
