I want some good break beat stuff, mixes or djs, to check out. I'm more into trancey breaks rather than technoish breaks, but I'll check out anything.

Thanks for those links, I'll check 'em out.

I don't really know the different genres of breaks. I would probably like hard breaks, since I love hard style. I've heard a few break tracks that had a really trancey synth and loved those too.

Check out Freqnasty, Evil 9, Stanton Warriors (their Stanton Sessions CD is immense), Kid Kenobe, Plump DJ's - should keep you going for a while.

Dallas is by far the breaks capital of America. Florida has their own corner but Flo got nothing on Big D.

yeah dallas is def holdin it down.

there are alot of top notch breaks producers around here
SOTEG, burufunk, lobudg, stefan anion, paradigm shift, kilo watts, dj merritt, kelly reverb...to name a few.
