I vaguely remember being 6-years-old myself, and there was a laundry list of things I hated about myself that I eventually got over.

What these kids have doesn't appear to be a phase. They've been to a lot of professionals and only where there is consensus are these things taken seriously.

On the other hand, I can't disagree with this last bit.

But I'm all for 100% unconditional positive regard and support. If my 6 y/o wants to wear clothing that society says is taboo, well, fuck what society says. :shrug:
