I want you to realize that when you associate with those who are infected you risk becoming infected yourself...tho I don't blame those who spread deceit themselves but the deceiver for these ppl do not even realize the lies and ignorance that flows forth from their lips
when you attend church or other christian services there is a sense of peace, and acceptance, love and understanding and mercy which is coming from the ppl but yet from god at the same time...the good that is in us IS god and yet we are not god because many of us contain evil in a greater abundance than that good to the point where we can't even see how far away from reality we really are
so I would encourage you to go to church and reach out to christians and test my words...see for yourselves the lies that you have come to believe of who christians are and the dangers that lie within there gatherings...go and see for yourselves what you have been missing...fill the void and find some real peace and understanding
I say this not for myself or my own selfish motives but because I care...I care about the truth and I care about the good that is in each and every one of you which is a slave of a prison for our soul...a prison that we have chosen...a prison which we continue to choose because we have been convinced to believe that we need it and want it and can't live without it...we are not free and are not seeking freedom regardless of what you may think
let go of your need to control everything...surrender your worries to god and take refuge in his son and his words and his promises because god never lies and will support you
there is NOTHING that you may have done that will not be forgiven..I don't care if you've murdered or raped or persecuted the church or any other sin you probably feel is beyond forgiveness...the only sin which cannot be forgiven is the denial of the truth and gift that has been given
thats it...EVERYTHING else is forgivable...and any christians here I would encourage to embrace those who have committed atrocity's if their intentions are from a pure place...I trust in the intuition that is from god to decern wheather they are of honest intentions or not
I apologize for my poor words in describing these matters...my terrible grammer and anger which shows at times...but I trust in gods will for me and that he will lead those who were predestined to be lead to the truth and that my words are not in vain
this is not easy for me to do I promise you that which actually convinces me all the more that I must do it...I must overcome my fears and speak words which still at times create a sense of embarasement not because they are deserving of these feelings but because I have been conditioned to feel this

Like a longing for this mythical story mistaken for literal fact to come to life.
I fear this will never happen with your energy invested in 'him'. Its more about you than anything.

Been there, done that. Perhaps the peace, acceptance, love, understanding and mercy are products of your perception? If you study people's actions, rather than their empty words in church on Sunday, there is little evidence of the qualities you claim to see.
I've been told by several self-labeled "Christians" that I am going to Hell, seen Christians throw rotten fruit at feminists who were walking in to a meeting concerning the ERA, heard them profess hatred towards gays and lesbians, and seen them scream at their own children for minor infractions.
The majority of my experiences with church and Christians have been quite illuminating, and definitely not encouraging.  Intolerance and judgment, along with hypocrisy, are quite evident in the actions taken during the rest of the week.

People all over this world are the same. The same # of murderers, the same # of thieves, and so on. Christians are no different, except that they are more hypocritical. Most of them believe that they can do whatever they want M-Sat.,and all they have to do is say they are sorry on Sun.. I have nothing against religion, but I object to the way it is being controled. Many people feel the need to go to church on Sun. thats fine, but stop coming to my house spewing your version of THE bible. Iknow many people who are not christian, who would certainly go to heaven; if they believed in it. I am glad you have found inner peace, but there are other ways. Religion is about money and power just like government, it would be irrational and stupid to blindly follow either one.

Hello dead,your comments are always interesting although I do not always understand what you are saying. I have found that anger clouds the mind,so I was merely wishing him well. As long as he is busy at his church, thats one person that will not be robbing my house on Sunday. I am not so sure of others. The one time I use "inner peace" I get caught.

Well, if that don't seem familiar. Seems to me, you "think" you know exactly what's going on in everyone else's mind. Do you understand everything going on in your own? Your fight is my fight. Not all of your walls are my walls though.
I feel ya, but my solace has no absolutes, and this is the main difference. It's one I'm OK with. As long as you aren't one to "push" views onto others, physically or otherwise, I'll consider you a good Christian. But I sometimes wonder if people that deal in absolutes aren't just fooling themselves. Big difference between love and trust.

I understand what you are saying. Anger does not work for me, my thinking clears up when I am not angry. In me anger invokes a prejudice, and I can overlook important facts. Evil is everywhere, not just behind an altar.

church doesn't do shit all for people except give them a temporary and misleading sense of peace, pride and security. it doesn't even allow them to see through their own masks of self-deceit, which they are endulging in and feeding by surrounding themselves with concepts and noise.
it seems the only peace and acceptance this woman has achieved is next to nothing. i've met so many christians like her filled with arrogance about how high and mighty their ways are, and how close they are taken to god, yet when it comes down to it, behind the mask they are miserable and lack self-love.
deep and lasting acceptance takes a lot more effort than what the majority of christians are doing today. it takes self-reflection, not endulging in projection.
