 like the broom

I have been thinking about the awareness sweeping accross the mental stage,
almost like a pendulum unless gripped, and then
as precise and effectual as a broom, back and forth over the area of interest.
every few seconds sweeping accross something else.
and I was thinking how sparks fly up in the mind as we sweep, and how that corresponds to the whole hassidic tradition of raising the sparks, and how witches and monks are depicted with brooms magic or menial.
(shih-teh and han shen)
so the idea of sweeping, must be one that is regularly encountered where things of mind and magic are important.
then I was wondering about brushing around to get more ideas going
- and about using one mental hand to do the brushing, and the other to hold onto the main idea,
and it seemed like I should just write a little something something about it here on the way to the dustbin.

I like that concept. If you can hold your object of interest with a mental hand , I guess it allows you to go around the matter, instead of aimlessly brooming where your mind drifts.

This made me think of something I read by Clark Heinrich where he presented the idea of witches dosing themselves with 'ointment' applied to broom handles and inserted into their vaginas.
Dang, that's what comes out when I sweep around my mind?? Fuckin crazy.
